Experience
I worked part time supporting the University of Nottingham IT Service Desk.
My role involved supporting students who were facing issues with University systems, personal devices, or perhaps both.
I successfully completed work as a software developer with Capital One as part of my 2nd Year Software Management project.
For the project our group was tasked to create a Spending Forecast app which uses AI modelling to monitor and manage customer’s personal finances.
A challenging yet enjoyable experience, our work was recognised by the University as one of the 4 best projects delivered in our year group (out of 40+ projects).
As part of a week long summer event, I was instructed with a partner to research into storage solutions using magnetic skyrmions and presenting our findings to a group of researchers.

Robot Arm using Arduino software
Made a functional robot arm that moves across 3 degrees of freedom using Arduino servos. Made using cardboard sheets glued together, and controlled using an Infrared remote and IR receiver.

Custom "smart" record player using Spotify API
Built a custom wooden box equiped with an Arduino setup using a NFC reader to read pre programmed NFC tags. Tags instruct the Arduino to play music through contacting the Spotify API.
